So Much time Wasted
After releasing Wonderland, I wanted to share something a little colder, lyrically and sonically. So Much Time Wasted is a song born out of frustration. It came from a point in my life where I’d just left a retail job and moved back home, feeling like I’d lost years to a version of life that didn’t belong to me.
It’s a track about routine, regret, and realising how easy it is to fall into patterns that keep you stuck. The production is more stripped-back than Wonderland, electronic, reflective, and repetitive in a way that mirrors the subject. It’s not quite chill-out, but it carries that low, steady energy that felt right for the message.
I wrote the lyrics thinking about time, how much we waste, and how it feels when we finally notice it slipping away. It’s not just about the job or the nights out that felt meaningless. It’s about recognising when you’ve been drifting, and deciding to wake up.
This song is a reminder to myself to move, to grow, and to act before more time gets lost.
